The CEA Conference 2004 "Christian Partnerships: Marketplace, Ministry and Marriage" was held in Boston, MA from June 4-6, on the grounds of the Academy of Arts and Sciences. Michael Chang, Lee Yih and Miltinnie Yih were the keynote speakers, speaking on doing God's "bid'ness" in the marketplace, sharing a vision for ministry in China and in the world, discussing issues of singleness and choosing a mate, and debunking the "myth of compatibility" in marriage. In addition, Michael had the opportunity to share his testimony of how he became a Christian and shared his faith on the tennis courts. 35 mentors from different walks of life: business leaders, full-time missionaries, medical doctors and lay workers, shared their lives with the attendees over three mentor huddles. 147 attendees from the US, Canada, and as far away as Hong Kong came to the conference, representing Christian Chinese-American professionals of the next generation.
It is our desire that partnerships formed during this conference may continue to grow, and lessons learned continue to deepen, in order that we might broaden the impact of the gospel in the world.
